CLEditor Progress http://premiumsoftware.net/cleditor When I created CLEditor back in June of this year, I simply wanted to give a little something back to the open source community and never really expected it to take off like it has. I am currently averaging around 600-700 unique visitors per day on the web site and have several thousand users worldwide.

I truly enjoy working on CLEditor and am finding it almost impossible to spend any time developing the next release. The little bit of time I do have is completely consumed by answering support requests from both the newsgroup and especially in private e-mail. For this reason, I have made very little progress.

To date, CLEditor has generated a little over $100 US dollars in donations and for those of you that have donated, Thank You! Although I would love to spend more time working on CLEditor, I do have a family to support and bills to pay. I have a very busy workload and must spend my time on projects that provide for my family.

I am not abandoning CLEditor at this time and will continue to answer support requests as much as possible. Until I can find more time to spend on CLEditor, any future development will most likely be at a snail’s pace. I know several of you are eagerly awaiting the next release and felt you deserved to know where I currently stand.
